The results of empirical research point in a direction, wherer there is no essental ego-nucleus nor a soul, that could exist outside of a body.
Some old cultures have an imagination of a material, etherian soul. The „out-of-body“ experiences of close to death incidents report a swinging of one’s soul outside one’s body and a perception of one’s body from above. Epileptics and mystics report similar experiences.

Personality is in a society defined through the mutual recognition of individuals. The excuse of many theologians for the non-existence of a soul without living body is correted by stating : „At resurection God recreates body and soul.“

Neuronal patterns and dynamically active networks of nerves mediate phenomenal statuses. The character of individual sensations remains the same for reality and hallucinations. Technical interventions are made possible through switching neuronal patterns on and off.

Today’s self is not firm fact, but a pattern process. Nothing in a brain is stabilized forever in order to guarantee a human self. A neuro-functional achitecture, a mathematically graspable minimal neuronal correlate, seems to be responsible for the phenomenon of a soul. There is a structure in brain where the body is represented including emotions and spirit. Experimentally we can simulte the belief of being dying experiences or pleasure. Conscience manipulation is the startholes Can we liberate ourselves from those in politics and markets?
